Gripping Stuff - The Extruder Clamp

I was short a few diagonal bracing brackets, but those are no problem and shouldn't take more than a couple of days to run off.
I'm now also short an X-axis flag 'cos I put a bench vice down on top of it...

This is great!
I'm really excited for the first RepStrap-printed RepRap to start printing for itself.
Have you been logging the time it takes to print each piece? What speed are you extruding at? Those numbers might be interesting.

Kyle, the speed varies between 8cc and 6cc per hour, depending on the density I'm using. Parts that need strength need a higher density
The RepRap GUI software will provide an estimation of the time it will take to print an object.

Wow that's a great print. I really need to sit down and work outs wrong with my extruder so I can start printing.
greenarrow, you're doing great with the plotter stuff. I too reckon that should be on the Live CD.
