The Emerging Economy of Home Manufacturing

Hod Lipson and Melba Kurman were asked by the White House to write a report on the emerging phenomenon of home manufacturing.  It has recently been published and - as you would expect - it makes interesting reading.  You can access it here:

A stimulating report, I enjoyed reading that and it's clear that a lot of work and research went into producing it. A slightly rose-tinted and US centric viewpoint but a very good read/overview for anyone new to the project/revolution.
