DIY chip fab
This blog is for RepRap progress, but sometimes things happen elsewhere that deserve a mention too.
So, thanks to Julian Skidmore for telling us about Jeri Ellsworth, who is doing amazing stuff...
Doing a similar fabrication effort on the RepRap would be somewhat like dip pen lithography.
Also, anyone with a nice temperature-and-atmosphere controled furnace like that could also sinter fused-deposition bronze parts, using metal-filled polymer similar to the stuff designed for metal injection molding.
