2 Years - Happy Birthday μRepRap
RepRapMicron is two years old. Just saying...
Updated maus_pika.scad and metriccano.scad on the github with a reinforced XY Table, microscope pole clips, and Stage nut holes that you can poke nuts into without superpowers.
The project has come a long way in two years. I had a look back into the archives to March 2024 and your original announcement. Before that, the last post on this blog was from April 2014 - it had been sitting dormant for a decade.
I must admit during those 10 years I did have a look here now and then to see if there were any new posts - but no, the blog was always effectively defunct.
Thanks for posting about the RepRapMicron project - I (and I am sure others) do enjoy the progress reports. Perhaps one day the RepRap forums will also re-activate - they seem to be in a similar state of quiescence. I know macro scale 3D printing is a commodity thing now but surely there is still scope for innovation and experimentation and DIY printers.
